I'm not too sure if it was a break lock or just the tires gripping the runway surface, I don't recall seeing any of the Cessna doing that those, the Spit seemed fine though.

That is all that matters then don't it.... Cessna doing that?? As a certain forum member on here would like us to believe Spits are Cessna's....... ( JUST KIDDING )

Colin, are you sure this is a Da Vinci? Did you get a look inside to see if it had the VFR cockpit that defines it as a Da Vinci? If it is IFR configured, with cockpit displays on both sides of the instrument panel, then it is just an AW109SP. The Da Vinci is an option for those who want a VFR machine, but it normally also has fixed wheel landing gear. Just wondered Have a look at this photo of a Rega Da Vinci in Switzerland. No gear door on the nose, and no hole for it to retract into. Also notice the rods from the main gear to the fuselage instead of retraction rams. www.aaa.dgualdo.it/hbzrv/hbzrv-obe-003-wall.htmCheers Graham

Will have to ask them to edit it. Thanks. Cheers, Colin
