Hi Dave, I've just noticed something really funny with the post language settings. Obviously you have it set up to clean up obscenities and the like, which is cool. However if you notice my posting on the Fairey IIIF, I had to spell the word regarding pilots accommodation as "copit". Try posting using the full word and see what it changes to.... (trust me its not rude)

OK, I have updated the swearbox! You can now say cockpit to your heart's content. ;D

I believe the same thing happens at the Flypast Forum
So normally forumites will spell it c**pit.
It's a bummer if you're writing about a fellow with a shortened name for Richard.... ;D

OK, I worked it out.
The time dispalyed depends on where you are in the world, and you have to set your own clock manually.
To do this, click on your own name in this post, or any other, and that takes you to your profile.
Then on the orange bar at the top click 'modify'
Once into the modification of your settings area, remember to type in your current password at the top whjere it asks, or it won't be updated.
Then scan down to nearly the bottom and find the time setting area. There's two options, the top allows you to choose how you want to see it written. The second is the important bit. You have to work out your time difference over wherever this site originates (USA?)
After some trial and error I found that if I type in +19.1 it seems to make the time as close as I can get for NZ, so you should be the same Chris and other Kiwis.
I hope that helps.
PS - I'll set it up so we can have the name Dick on this forum - it is stupid on Flypast where it is disallowed

Not a worry, that's what I'm here for. Did the time balance out for you ok? I'm still about 2 mins out but I don't think that matters

Hey Dave
I adjusted my time setting (per ur instructions to TNZ above) but it's not quite right - I used 19.1 as you suggested but am about an hour out/late - daylight saving? eg: I submitted this at 4:40pm - I wonder what time will be shown?
Also, how do upload an avatar - there's just a blank field in the profile - do you have to do a photobucket type of link or ...?
Teething problems yeah? cheers D

Needs to be 18.1 now - and we are still on daylight saving time.

Hi Don,
Cheers for pointing out the time adjustment.
To upload an avatar I used a picture from PhotoBucket but take off the IMG codes from the link, so it looks just like a normal url
If that doesn't work, get back to me.
Cheers mate Dave
