Thanks to everyone who has posted their wonderful photos on this thread. I hope the judges like the selection provided. I for one enjoyed seeing them all anyway. Well done Simon, this has been a great idea.

AND THE WINNERS ARE......... It is my pleasure to have been given the job to announce the winners of this competition, and yes - that's right - the judges had a hard time deciding on one clear winner so have split the results into two categories, amateur and professional. So, a second prize of a 39 minute flight was added onto the competition. Well done guys. And, now the winners - First Prize, Glenn Alderton for post No. 40 Well done Glenn! It is truly a fantastic picture. And, second prize goes to another stunning shot... Congratulations to Bob Dedekind for his awesome photo from the Logan's fly-in I'd like to say thanks to everyone who contributed to this excellent competition, but most of all I want to thank Simon, Chris, Bryan and Rob - the Kiwi Tunder team who've very kindly provided us all with the subject of our photos, and these stunning prizes. The competition has been great for the forum, and is much appreciated. The Thunder Mustang 'Tigers Blood' has become one of the best things to see on the NZ airshow circuit in my opinion, and I'm sure a lot of us here agree with me in how much we appreciate the efforts of the Kiwi Thunder team to display at airshows big and small around the country. The only thing we'd ask for is a few more slower passes for us amateur photographers without the fancy gear and quick reactions...

Well done guys - enjoy your prizes! Don't forget us 'groundies' when you go up: some photos and a report on your flight would be excellent to read on WoNZ - hint, hint.

Congratulations to Glen on winning the contest. Having only recently joined the forum and begun to submit pix, here is one of mine which I would have entered had I been able at the time. Peter
