Bruce let us know when your taking bookings for air to air photography. I think Gavin needs some competition and anyway he is way down south? Just kidding guys but many a suggestion is made in jest. I look forward each week to your reports on progress fascinating for us on the side line of aviation. Keep em coming and Gavin no worries your way out in front when it comes to air to air.

Mr Craig, don't you worry. In a week or two when people have finished looking at those links the spell checker will be returned to as before, and the English language will be maintained. I might even add another that turns the word 'hangar' to 'hangar'. Some people seem to store their planes hung up in a wardrobe it seems.

last weekend I did managed to get the colour trim on, however humidity problems caused by the wet weather did cause some problems with the paint "blushing" (getting a whitish cast caused by trapped moisture)  so I have had to do a bit of tidy up work - a cut and polish cleaned up the fuselage sides O.K. but it looks like the belly panel will need another coat - I just have to find a suitable fine, DRY weekend!. If I had a choice, I should have waited a week to get the blue done, but some of the masking tape I had put on nearly 2 weeks previous (It was 14 day tape) and once it gets to that point its touch and go whether it will come off, so the window to get it painted was running out. looks O.K. though....  |

Great stuff. I agree that the scheme looks realy nice. Will the wings be white or blue?

The wings will be white with blue tips and probably leading edges. Might have some gold trim near the tips as well. I'll experiment with layout when I get on to them. I have also been considering large registration letters in the old style layout across the wings, but not 100% convinced on that yet.
