Mustang A68-105 CA-18 Mk.21, RAAF serial A68-105 VH-JUC about to follow Texan/T6/Harvard 7667 CAC-18, Mustang (RAAF serial A68-105) VH-JUC just about to touch down on runway 17 at Tyabb after a photo sortie on 18th February 2006. The stunningly-beautiful Beech 17 Staggerwing VH-UUV on a very flat and low approach to runway 17 on Saturday 18th February 2006. The engine spluttered when the pilot opened up to arrest the sink. Black smoke issued from the exhaust and onlookers ducked. The engine caught and lifted the beauty over the fence to touch down on the displaced threshold. A fair old whack of starboard rudder is seen.

It's just a pity that Tyabb is so far away from "civilisation"!

It is only an hour's drive from Tullamarine, Sir. I guess it depends on where you call "civilisation"!

For me, it's an 8 hour drive.
Can't call Melbourne civilisation ;-)
