Interesting shots. Those Tornadoes look like interesting aircraft, i wonder if there are any still around.
I've not heard of a Constitution before. Are you sure it's not a Lockheed Contstellation?

Hi Dave, "Constitution" is what is written on the back of the photo. Just cleaning out some more of Barrie's boxes, standby for a few more aerobatic team photos.......

A nice selection indeed.
ZK-ALF is the Rearwin 9000L ex ZK-AGQ/NZ599, was with the New Plymouth AC post war and the with several private owners in the Auckland area. WFU in the 1970s, it is now extant with J P Galpin, Pongakawa.
The Heath Parasol type SAS Monoplane ZK-ALV was built by Charles Savage & R D Shaw, Christchurch. Built Chch 1933-36. first flight from New Brighton beach in Christchurch on 01-03-36. Original motor 20hp Henderson motorcycle motor. Motor rebuilt to 38hp. F/F Wigram 1938. It remained unregistered until 1946. Rebuilt by R K Jones, Timaru it then was re-registered as ZK-BUD in 1959 and is now owned by Stan Smith.
Jim Frogley's Avro 626 ZK-APC we all know, looks like it's attending a regatta here.
The Percival K.1 Vega Gull ZK-AKV was ZK-AFI with the Wellington AC pre-war. After serving as NZ571 it went back to Wellington as AKV post-war and then to Hauraki AC, Midland Air Services Ltd and New Plymouth AC with few private owners in between. She ended up with Russell J Howie, Benmore, in the 1960s and was unfortunately damaged by cattle while parked in a paddock. Condemned by CAA & WFU. To John Geary allegedly for restoration.
Miles M.11A Whitney Straight ZK-AFH was the famous PWD-owned aircraft seed-sowing used by Gibby Gibson to pioneer aerial farming work in New Zealand. Sold in 1958, it ended up with D S Rowles, Omakau, and was scrapped about 1967.
The Miles Aerovan would be ZK-AWV or ZK-AWW. We have covered these previously.

That's a great photo of the Avro 626. The place looks like Harewood? Or is it possibly Ohakea?

Wonderful slides, I also love the Sunderland shot, and seeing the CFS team like that is great. I'm looking forward to when you can scan these sometime in the future, mice and crisp.

Yeah I haven't counted them up yet but would estimate that there would be around a total 50 slides, of which 20 would be classed as CFS Team taken at Wigram, Nelson, and Queenstown, another 10 or so are shots out of the window of areas he has flown and the rest are misc shots of other aircraft/people. All seem to be around 1962 or there abouts.
