Here's some of my photos from this weekend at Raglan I cannot recall what either of these aircraft above and below) are called (Bruce will) but they came from Stratford. Both nice machines. The flaming red one is a racer. Bruce posing in his high viz camo for blending into signage. A resident turbo Fletcher to satisfy Pool Guy Murray's Hunting Jodel, following his arrival and tree trimming act. A very nice example of the Isaacs Fury, ZK-DMN, which popped down on Friday from Ardmore for a few hours. More later when I'm not so tired...

Dayglo orange really isnt my colour, however it is pretty handy when out and about attending to rabbit holes and the like. Nice photos Dave.
ZK-EEF is a Gardan Minicab and SNW is a Monnett Sonerai

Thanks Bruce. Here's a couple of dusk arrivals on Friday, some unusual gyrocopters that look scary but really neat. Sorry the photos are not too good. The one above I immediately thought would be like riding a motorcycle in the sky, and I was pleased to hear the lady pillion passenger say yesterday to someone else that it is just like that to ride on. These two machines flew all the way across from Tauranga! Here's another Jodel, I think And this machine which is tiny (the wheels are the size of wheelbarrow wheels!) but it is a real little ripper. The pilot seemed to do a doughnut in it every time he landed, just for fun!

I love that dusk arrival shot of the gyrocopter Dave.
Really moody looking sky, like he's racing to beat a storm.

Cheers Joe. Some of the weather was good anyway and luckily the biggest storm was at night. Here are a couple of Corby Starlets, in which their pilots were having a heck of a lot of fun throughout the weekend. Here new forum member Andrew decided to demonstrate just how small the Starlet's wings are by showing they're about the same length as he is ;D And a classic looking Piper Pacer A Stoddard-Hamilton Glastar Airtrainer prototype ZK-DGY down from Ardmore

Nice photos there, Dave.
Good to see there was a good variation on types that flew in for the weekend.

Another Stratford based aircraft, this little beaty thinks it's a Red Checker Comparing notes in the 'natural hangar' A Cub The Cessna that Peter, Meredith and Alex flew down from Whenuapai aboard, and in which Peter kindly gave me a fly
