Yeah Corsair it's different to power flying in that you cannot just put the power on and climb, you really do have to read the sky. On thermal days you need to look for sunny slopes, dark paddocks etc, on light wind days you need to stay windward of ridges and on wave days get ready for a rough ride in the rotor but once you are in wave everything usually goes silky smooth.
