I worked for T.A.T. from 1965 to 69 as an apprentice, at Mechanics Bay, had some great times and some "hairy" times both on or in the water and occasionally in the air, a great time to work there until it's time up it was becoming inevitable with harbour redevelopment and helicopters making the future look bleak. Many parts were donated to MoTaT but have apparently disappeared from there some years ago.
