OK, I'll kick it off. The largest every crowd rocked through teh Temora gates on Saturday. Obviously the Hornets helped but I really think this was the Sabres fault ;-)

The F86 Sabre is what I would describe as a "sexy" looking jet. Its one of those "if it looks right it will fly right" kind of aircraft. It would have been interesting to see how the Aussie built Sabre's would have done against the Mig 15 in Korea. I mean a 30mm cannon and a powerful Avon engine might have got an even better kill ratio (not taking anything away from the US Sabre pilots who did a fantastic job under restrictive engagement rules). I'll put one of these on my Lotto powered aircraft wish list. "So thats a Bristol Freighter, an Avenger and a Sabre. Will there be anything else sir?" "Yes. I think a Spitfire might be nice.......one built for two" ;D
