We (me, wife + 12yo daughter) were the festival photographers at this years event - 24-28 March. We shot only 22G of photos and 15000 frames of time-lapse. We (the organisers) have had some photo gallery issues so I have been uplaoding to the BOW facebook "photos" page: www.facebook.com/pages/Balloons-over-Waikato/287966065824?v=photos&ref=mfOur time-lapse is also here: www.facebook.com/video/?id=287966065824 - still some work to do but you get the idea. I ran two time-lapse cameras, one with inbuilt TL settings up a 4m removeable pole and the other, my newly designed netbook/camera/software beast. ### note - you don't need to be a "Facebook" user to see the images ###All three of us got a chance to shoot from the air (individually) and from the ground (1st time in a ballon for all of us). Some haze and fog made shooting challenging... with a two-page photographers brief telling us what they need (you gotta show off those sponsors). The wind was gusty at the nightglow... so not much fun. Bl0#dy hard work actually as the wife down on the ground had the "good" camera leaving me up on top of the building with an old 400D!!! Not next year... I smell a 7D coming my way Pete www.ascendphotography.co.nz

That is an excellent photo of the night glow Pete. And a great selection in the Facebook night glow album.

That is fantastic. Not bad for an "old camera"!
