It would be good to see one of the ex-RNZAF/ex-RAN Skyhawks airborne again, but alas, I can't see it ever happening now.

This was in 2005. Anyone got any more info about this visit to our fair shores? Looks like they are talking about the engine. Safe Air are still overhaulling the odd J52 at Woodbourne. It doesn't look like it has live seats (listed as an option in the sale blurb and in the photo of the back seat pilot there is no upper face screen handle on the seat). If it was me live seats would be a must... Skyhawks don't make good gliders. Some good footage there of the slats working.
