With the rain this weekend, I am looking at a winter project and cannot think of anything better than an RNZAF mosquito, I have a Tamiya kit sitting in the cupboard. Can anyone tell me about the radio fit in the Kiwi aircraft, was it the standard 2 boxes in rear of the cockpit or did they Americanise the radio fit?

Given that the RNZAF Mosquito squadrons used in the Amiens Prison raid (kit markings) were actually RAF aircraft and only crewed by NZ pilots, very unlikely they would be anything other than a standard fit - of course I could be wrong.

I think Sputnik was referring to No. 75 Squadron postwar Mosquitoes. As for them, I have no idea if the equipment was changed or kept as standard fit. As they were part of a Fighter Wing with the Mustangs it's possible changes had to be made though.

Thats right Dave. I am looking at post war, and with the mixing of US and british equipment in this time I began to wonder what went where....I caught a glimpse in the back of Motat's T.43 and saw a couple of black boxes that looked very much like radio gear. I also saw in the back of the Mapua mossie and that had only the T1154 set on the back, no reciever, So I am trying to find out what they had, post war.
