I see a Beach 1900 is reported as performing an " emergency landing " at Woodbourne this afternoon . ( with all the usual emergency services / roads closed etc ) .I dont really understand this at all , since it was on a flight from Gisborne to Wellington when the pilot reported a " vibration shortly after take off " . I get why the 1900 that landed wheels up a few years ago was diverted to Woodbourne , but surely a mystery fault like a vibration would prompt a landing at the earliest opportunity ( such as a return to Gisborne ) . I have only seen a brief report , so maybe missing something , anybody else know any more ?
