when I was on 40 Sqn our MFC at the time was the engineering officer during the evaluation. Just cannot remember his name but he did leave the Sqn when I was there and got a job at Smiths Cranes. This was 1988. From memory there was also a presentation of the evaluation held in the base institute.

He was guest speaker at the reunion in March and still misses the Fast Jet Capability... Seemed a really good bloke and I agree with him! Our poor RAF might be going the same route of stripping out the fighters. Such a poor grasp of history!
