yeah mate cool eh? I didn't spot it myself either - had to have it pointed out. I said to Gav that I hope the guy on the ground one day gets to fluke across the photo. It is a really cool stroke of luck!

I love the shot of all four Beavers jostling for position in frame, wonderful composition! Mind you they're all great, I'm beginning to think there is no aeroplane that Gavin can take ugly photos of! The Air Tractor has never been a favourite of mine, but these shots are great! I bet the pilot's keen to have some large copies for the work hangar/office!

Beautiful shots Gavin, all of them. What a sight, four Beavers over Gisborne ...

I really like the one of the four Beavers filling the whole frame. It's great that they are not in a "formal" formation (Right echelon, Line Abreast etc...) The different sizes and angles really give an image that is something unusual and interesting ... it's like a group of seagulls battling over the last chip in the newspaper wrapping after a beach feast of shark & taties... Perhaps we should invent a new name for that formation, "The Conroy Seagull" perhaps?
Also the size of the Air Tractor always surprises me... the full-size adult pilot looks like a little child playing in that huge cockpit.
Great work, Gavin

Awesome, awesome pics How did they get USJ here? USJ arrived in a container following a landing accident in Australia and the photos here were taken following the restoration back to airworthy status, such a lovely aeroplane.
