Does anyone here have any decent wartime photographs of fighter pilot John Arkwright?
I interviewed John last year and I'd like some photos to accompany the film of his interview. He only had one very poor photocopy and in that he had his hands in front of his face so it's not much good. I'd appreciate anything that people can offer.
He served and an instructor on Oxfords and Tiger Moths and then in No. 15 Squadron in Tonga and Guadalcanal, and No. 16 Squadron at Guadalcanal. He later rose to become second in charge of a Group in the Pacific, taking in the NZ Fighter Wing andseveral US squadrons.
Thanks.
