I just listened to an interesting interview conducted by Kim Hill on Radio NZ National with Betty Van Graf, who was one of the first ten WAAFs to join the RNZAF in WWII.
It was promoting the latest and last book in the series of veteran's histories being produced by the Government. This one is about war on the Home Front in NZ.
