At Anthony Galbraith's suggestion I have decided to leap the Ditch and go to the IPMS Nationals in Wellington next weekend and can bring a small number of copies of 'Southern Cross Mustangs' with me. See elsewhere here or Hyperscale for reviews...
Anyone attending wants one without the postage charges can either order by credit card through Red Roo Models (www.redroomodels.com) in advance or pick one up for cash at the show.
Numbers will be very limited (it weighs a lot, hence the big postage cost) so they are available only on a 'first in - best dressed' basis.
Looking forward to meeting some of you there...
Regards, David Muir Author 'Southern Cross Mustangs'

Hi Dave
It will be awesome to have you here with that amazing book of yours!
If anyone has even a 'slight' interest in Kiwi and Aussie Mustangs then you wont believe your eyes when you see this book. Definative is an understatement.
Perfect for the new Tamiya 32nd P-51D Mustang kit.
Cheers Anthony

When I last went to the States I took three copies of the book with me to give to the friends who put me up. They all agreed it was the most outstanding ever Mustang book but because of the title they would never have thought of buying it themselves.

Whoops. I should have added that if you have an interest in ANY Mustangs you should buy it. Incedible detail not confined to OZ/NZ aircraft!

I'll be waving some cash at you for a copy. Hope the current snowiness doesn't put you off! Anthony, kb, Thanks for your kind comments.
Dave, Will you be at the show? If so say G'day please...
Saratoga, I love cash and will put one aside for you...hard cover or soft?
While I don't fancy the cold, rest asured I will be there, assuming the big tin bird can get into Wellington.
One of my Kiwi work colleagues says the real reason he migrated here was not the beer or the birds, just that he never had to shovel the heat off the footpath...
Best regards, David
