Been reading this in todays Press.
A shameful series of cockups & I hope the independent investigation gets this resolved to the satisfaction of all of the families involved!

Sad - The RNZAF has gone real PC in last 10 yrs or so - something like this should never happen, who's lost was it !

Agree. Somebody has stuffed up big time. The family don't need this and the RNZAF should have treated them the same way they treated the other families. This is real bad.

It is sad that this has happened and that it had to make it all the way to public exposure like this.
However I'm sure that most members of the RNZAF will be as disappointed, angry and saddened about this situation as the family themselves and the public are. Saying it is 'the RNZAF' taints them all but surely this is down to a few individuals making the wrong calls.

What do you know Rhyno that's contradictory to the press article?? Pretty solid intel when they quoting the mistreated family directly with supporting evidence from the other families....
I'm disappointed as a fan of the RNZAF that they would allow this sort of thing to happen....

I don't trust the Press or reporters.
If they can get something wrong or misquote someone they will.....
The Police and the courts are little better. I have yet to see anything near 100% truth expressed by those parties, - a fact of life I guess.
I am not saying the article lacks foundation....but I am reasonably confident that the reporter would have made a hash of it.
