By the dress and the row of Tiger Moths in the background it is probably at an EFTS in NZ. E.J. Shaw is possibly Eric James Shaw DFC, of Cambridge. If it is him, that would mean this is probably taken in 1941. He went on to serve on Malta in Spitfires and then with No. 485 (NZ) Squadron. If you click on the link the owner of the photo has also posted a photo of the logbook.It has 3 EFTS,so I guess thats where it's taken.
