Was at the Air Force Museum this arvo with No 1 grandson. They have 07 and 05 in the new extension with 54 in the main display hall. Both photos were taken from the cafe area on my cellphone. Couldn't get closer. 05 is tucked in behind 07. No 1 grandson in process of sinking a battleship, an aircraft carrier and shooting down the Death Star whilst flying the Vampire T11. Teddy bears taking over everwhere. Not sure if this onehad anything to do with damage to boom.

Are these the first MB339's in the USA?

Quick answer, No. A check of FAA register has five MB326M's which really doesnt count but between 270197 & 250700 there was a sole Lockeed MB-339A, N339L c/n 6633 (quite a bit older than ours). This aircraft was the Lockheed demonstrator for the JPATS programme won by the Beech T6 Texan II.

Impressive company by the looks of it, noting the fleet of jets they've accumulated in a short ime.
Be interesting to know how many contracts they've got.

I see in the gallery section of the RAN Museum site that they have posted pics of the donated TA-4 Skyhawk in its new/old colour scheme, she looks really sharp!

A "No" from me sadly. But I'm hoping we will see some of them being regenerated in the 'States soon (there are quite a few Kiwis already over there and others on their way to assist Draken return them to the air).
