The QandA section has two references to the RNZAF. A crew photo of an early mark Halifax ( Merlin engined) named KIWI. Any ideas of what when and where?
Also a question about Alfred Dupree who force landed in Portugal and was interned,,what happened

NZ417035 Sgt. Alfred Brooker Depree During a transit flight from Portreath bound for Cairo, via Gibraltar he force-landed his Spitfire at Estremoz in Portugal on the 17th June. He was attached to 543 Sqn.
He joined BOAC Short Sunderland G-AGES at Lisbon for the return trip to the UK and luckily survived the crash when it hit the slopes of Slieveglass, Mount Brandon on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. July 28th 1943.
