Wigram Airfield, March 19, 1957. Group Capt AB Woodhall is presenting which trophy to which airman? And who is in the background? Thanks in advance for any help with this!

I would contact the Museum if I were you, I'd expect if anyone can tell you they can.

The airman is Peter Tremayne, behind the Group Captain is Wing Commander Walker, probably then the i/c flying, cannot assist re the trophy though.

I missed this thread till now. Thanks for filling in the names Avenger. I'm sure Martin (Beetle2) must be pleased to have names put to faces.
The trophy looks to have a de Havilland Mosquito model on top of it, so someone out there should recognise it I hope, if not the RNZAF Museum.

That was yours truly receiving the award ... I have a parchment somewhere in one of my attics. If you go to my website page at: www.dudesdownunder.com/rnzaftraining.html, I can be found, second from the left in the photograph, top right on the page. This was the passing out parade for No. 25 Aircrew Cadet Course RNZAF, which included regulars [like me],TAF [2], NAC [2], RAF [2] and almost the last group of CMT [mainly University guys].
These days you'll find me in the high mountains of California, watching and listening to USN F18's scorching around the 14,000' peaks on Top Gun training ... so much more exciting for one of the Last NZ Sky Gods, than looking for the RNZAF over the unprotected skies of the Long White Cloud!
Cry my Beloved Country ... and Air Force.
