Awesome. I used to see this Corsair every day when I worked in No. 6 Hangar at RNZAF Base Wigram, where it was stored by the RNZAF Museum. It's great to see it back in the air.

Nice to see a Corsair i sat in waaaay back in the 1980s looking so good. Well done she is a superb example and nice to see her in colours other than the US.

What significance does the word Experimental have for these warbirds? Seen just below the cockpit canopy.

Means that it is not a 'normal' category aircraft.
Basically, fly in it at your own risk!

Graham's Corsair was on static display in Darwin for the Pitch Black 2014 Open Day. It's looking fantastic! I managed to drool over it around 8:30am before the crowds were allowed in. Very nice! Definitely a lot of RAAFies getting their photos taken with it (I wound up taking a few for them I also got to record a chat with Nobby about the restoration and will try to get it into our next PCDU episode NOTE: Nobby reckons it'll be ready to relocate down to Graham's hangar in Tyabb around Oct/Nov this year. Woo hoo! That makes it a LOT easier to get to see & hear it than if it's all the way up in Darwin

I'll bet the RAAF wish they had Corsairs!

Interesting to note the flash suppressors on the cannon, and the glare shields above the exhaust - definitely a nightfighter as the "N" designation suggests
