Now then Gents and Gentesses, Just finished a quick build [by my slothful standards anyway] of Derrick Westernra's Mustang Mk.III which he flew when OC 65 squadron in June 1944 just before D-Day. The model is pretty much out of the box and was more than a little disappointing on the score of accuracy. It did however unlock a period of modellers block so served its purpose.

Thank you for the compliments guys. Dave it is the Academy kit, Nr. 1667 and is 72nd scale which made it a tad fiddly. A couple of earlier shots before the very thick canopy was fitted to illustrate.
