thanks for the help in deciphering the pictures of '151. I 'finished' her but I'm not happy with the serial size. I used a set for this machine from a local supplier, but think there are a lot of issues so I'm going to strip it back later and use stock decals. It is the old Smer/Merit kit complete with raise lines to show decal placement. so lots of rubbing down and filling was needed to start with. Not my finest hour by any means. Thanks for looking

Looks okay to me. Nice little unit mate. Great to see another one of your Kiwi subjects. I reckon your display (& photographs) might be improved somewhat by the simple addition of a textured surface colour on the base - concrete, tarmac or turf, that sort of thing. What's next on the desk for you? Another Kiwi bird I hope? Cheers, Wally.

NZ151 is one of my 'future' build subjects too (1:72, Revell/ Matchbox kit). Was never certain of the colour of the upper wings. Your question thread re '151 seems to confirm the overall silver - cheers guys!
