I was just about to head out the back door to go to work this afternoon (about 14:15 ish) and saw a Hercules in formation with a 757 flying up the harbour (in front of the downtown area) in the direction of Whenuapai. Didn't have time to get a photo but did any other Aucklanders out there see it? Looked very impressive from my perspective with the city in the background and the Herc tucked up behind the 757's starboard wing Cheers, Stu.

We'll be going up from Dunedin with my new Panosonic camera, so hopefully post some results. See the Red Checkers are to display at Sumner on Saturday evening at 5pm also.

Beagle, can you get photos for us if you go out to Wigram on Sunday? not 100% sure on the sickie as yet, you do want bread in the shops monday morning the neighbours goat got loose from it's chain, smashed into the house, bumped my car keys off the bench into the cats food plate which he proceeded to eat. After chasing the goat with an enema hose for 10 miles, I was too exhausted to go to work anyway, wonde rif that will work.

The 'Checkers just flew over my work (at Addington) on initials for a buzz and break at Wigram. Not quiet the sound of freedom but good to see Airtrainers in the sky over Christchurch again! I'll be at Wigram on Sunday too - sounds like it will be a good show.

Just went into wigram this afternoon, about 30 minutes ago, did not see any Air Trainers around unless they were in a hangar already. Only thing I saw was DC-3 AMY

Sorry Dave, I have been instructed not to get sick on sunday as the superviser will not even be there as it is his wedding anniversary and is talking her for a romantic weekend to Kaikoura. Whats more important, aircraft or a wedding anniversary, and it is only his first, he'll have more to come....maybe
