Paraparaumu Walrus and John Gould: rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=civil&action=display&thread=15832Ralph Exton's two not three (ex C F Cook) were NZ158 which theoretically became ZK-AMJ for a flight Hobsonville to Mangere and NZ156 which was trucked across as a spares source. All saw minimal use and were scrapped. ZK-AMJ remains sold 25Oct51 to Amphibian Airways, New Guinea, for use as spares for VH-ALB

I had seen some of these photos before but not all. The two shots of derelict Oxfords in a garden have appeared in New Zealand Wings and I think the first two Walrus shots have too. It is really interesting to see the Gould's livery on that Oxford though, and the nose art. I'd never seen that before. Nor had I seen the Exton shots. Great finds Peter.
