I am working on this painting at the moment. It is oil on canvas 1000x825mm. It was a combined raid by 489 NZ, 144 Canadian and 455 Australian squadrons.  |

finally finished during this raid P6-D (489 (NZ) squadron was an outrider flown by W/C D Hammond DSO,DFC with his navigator F/L R Park DFC  and a couple of close ups   |

Amazing detail without overpainting it. Even to the extent of the very realistic background hills in the bay beyond... your patience has certainly been rewarded!!
