Can anyone help me with specific details of the instruments installed in the RNZAF Hawker Hinds? I have found several pictures on the internet, but they all seem to vary. The other Hawker variants of the time (Demon etc) also seem to be slightly different in some respects.
Any original photos or drawings would be of great assistance.
In particular was the altimeter a MkIX or the earlier MkV?
From what I can work out, the panel consists of:
Oxygen regulator MkVIII Oil pressure ( 0-100) Oil temp (0-100) Rad temp ( 0-100) T&S RPM ( 1200 -3400?) ASI Altimeter Clock Televel fuel gauge ( would like to find one of these).
Thanks.

Mike, I will get some photos up later today of the Hind panel. Your list left out the Reid -Sigrist fore & aft level. If you find any Televel gauges, let me now, (hens teeth). There are several panels to be seen at Dairy Flat. Time you made a visit.

Shamus, Thanks a lot for the photos - really interesting. I was just looking at some photos of an RAAF Demon panel. Despite the close lineage, the panel is quite different. It has the early altimeter and the same type of fuel gauge as a Spitfire. Do you know what range the boost gauge should be? I would have though more than +4 ?
You are right - I need to pay another visit. Say hi to Don for me.
By the way, the wheels I have do not have brake drums. They are badly corroded though.
