I have just recieved my first copy of Air Force News in the mail, and I must say that I'm very impressed with the quality of the magazine and the articles inside it. I'm also impressed that they are happy to send it at no cost to me!

Hi, yes I just got the latest the other day too. I did not know about it till I was looking around the air force web site about a year ago and have been getting it ever since. I got one about 4-5 months ago that went into depth on the Nh-90 and also the projects for the Boeing 757, herk and orion, some things I learnt there that i did not know.
Any more hail storms there today.

No, no more hail storms here; and that's a very good thing as the Uni I work at has had nearly half of its building water damaged to varying degrees. It's now about 29C, which is good for helping to dry things out a bit, although it also means that some of the buildings smell like a herd of wets Yaks on the inside! ;D I think the drought has just about been broken now!

yes I saw adelaide was 37 yesterday so it is pretty warm there at the moment. I was stationed at Perth for 3 months but it was july to oct so never got to the extreme highs they get this time of the year. I did venture into Canberra for a week. Nice musuem, got a free tour of that. Some of the guys took me to a suburb called........ lots of naughty shops etc was there the weekend of the NRL final and that other funny game you guys play there. pretty sure we even had a frost. i know it was colder than other parts of aussie i was visiting at the time.

So Alan, you've been out to Fyshwick then? ?? ;D Canberra can get pretty cold in Winter (-10C frosts), and very hot in Summer (up to 40C one day before Christmas!). I have to admit though that I find it colder in Christchurch, but I think that's because it a damp cold there, whereas Canberra is a drier cold, much like Arthurs Pass.

arhhhh thats the one. Actually spent up large as this women I knew at the time wa sinto wearing fetish rubber and she bought these rubber magazines in NZ at $40 each and this guy had just taken over this adult book shop and was getting rid of them all at $1.00 each. I hadto go up the road to find a shop selling bags to fit them in. This was way back in the 90's.
