Wow, that is a stunner, and so neat to see this hard on the heals of Bruce's awesome Hudson.

So impressed - looks like all we have to do is crane it onto a truck and get it rebuilt and flying again... That is so superlatively impressive!!

That is stunning work. You can even see the US star showing through on the fuselage roundel. The exhausts even look like they really are rusty!

Don't give up Sputnik 767. Each according to his/her ability. Or, if you do give up, don't pack your kits away, donate them to me! The P-40M is wonderful. I love it. I doubt I will ever build anything as good. And the exhausts are brilliantly painted ... but I think they are the wrong exhausts, not being fishtails ...? I wonder what scale it is and what the base kitset is?

Truly impressive work, but why is it identified as a P-40M when it has an N-1 number? David D

I just saw this on facebook too. I was about to show it on a thread, but have been beaten to it. It is very remarkable

I wonder what scale it is and what the base kitset is? I was thinking about the scale, thought I was just blind to it. It is good to see that alhough good the eagle eyes have been able to provide constructive feedback. I have a couple of m kits, one to do as 3072, I was lucky enough to meet Mr Fisken a couple of times in rotorua. The other is 3119 as I saw the a/c when Don was based at North Shore airfield. I think I just have to stop looking at this site, find other projects for my 2 year old helper, wait for my son to be born (due feb), get him sleeping through the night and I will get back modeling. I also still need to figure out how these babies keep appearing, I have some idea's but if anyone else has researched this please let me know.......
