Revell's 1/72nd Lockheed Hudson Mk I/II apparently released in February. Probably not news to anyone but I just noticed them on eBay & here is the Hannants link - www.hannants.co.uk/product/RV4838?¤cy_id=9I can't find a preview or review online but I gather this is a rebox of the MPM Mk I/II kitset. If so it has the engine nacelles and exhausts to build a Mk III RNZAF version. Whether Revell have altered MPM's rather difficult to build 'short run' type kitset I don't know but it seems unlikely. The Revell version appears to be cheaper though. NB - essentially the same kitset reboxed some years ago as Italeri Mk IV/V does not contain the nacelles/exhausts for a Mk III. Seems like everyone has had a go at these moulds? (Molds?) How I wish one or more of them would scale it up to 1/48th ...!? Or better still, start from scratch with a whole new tooled 1/48th 'all-Marks' version! Come on Revell, follow up on PV-1 Ventura with a 'Prequel' ... Wally.
