Congratulations to all those involved, who unlike the RNZAF Museum Trust Board, have the vision, sense of history and perseverance to make such things happen. To the RNZAF Museum Trust Board - you and you alone are responsible for this shambles. The ill feeling and loss of respect for the RNZAF Museum that has resulted, both at Ohakea and in the wider community will take decades to repair (in some cases you will never be forgiven). Your lack of vision, sense of history and perseverance with regards to the Ohakea Museum (over many years) are in stark contrast to those who originally created, nurtured and supported this unique little museum. AKE AKE KIA KAHA.

Sadly, I think the odds are firmly stacked against this project. I would be very surprised to see it get up and running. there are too many reasons why it cannot work, and I can't find that many that convince me that it will work.
I hope that they are able to prove me wrong, I really do, and I wish them all the best of luck in the world, but we'll see.

The RNZAF Museum Trust Board has now closed the Ohakea Exhibition Center. The Ohakea Visitor Center Charitable Trust Board will now begin planning for a new complex that will become a huge assett to this region - the RNZAF and more.... Mr Chris Torr
