Does anyone know what Bob Henderson is up to these days? Back in the early 1990's he was the Commanding Officer of No. 40 Squadron and he commanded them while deployed to the 1990/91 Gulf War.
I recall after the war he toured bases and came to Wigram, where at the Musuem he treated us (anyone who was interested, and the theatre was packed) to an excellent lecture on his experiences in the Gulf War. The talk included an amazing set of slides that he'd taken during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. They documented the RNZAF's involvement magnificently.
Is he still around these days?

Bob is still kicking around last I heard he was the President of the International Gliding Commission, and a couple of years ago I saw him at Drury test flying the ultralight aircraft he had just purchased (with some nice landing bounces !)
