Wow, I found the 1988 Europa 'Travelling On' advert on YouTube.
It's brilliant, it really takes you back in time, and includes a lot of things now long gone - including the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn, Europa (NZ's only whollly owned petrol compnay, and No. 75 Squadron Skyhawks.
Also seen is the Mangaweka C-47, a tank, that classic car junk yard that featured in Smash Palace and Goodbye, Pork Pie - which is also longh gone I believe - and much more.
My memory had told me this was a Mobil advert. it's even better to know it's Europa.

The scene with the 3 musos popping up in the wheat field is in Marton. The house in the background is my Great Great Grandmothers! Thanks for the clip!

Of course this came up at the same time:
Short documentary featuring FLTLT (now GPCAPT) Steve Moore talking about the 'new' Kahu upgrade. Pretty interesting footage showing the work on the airframe installing all the avionics wiring looms, as well as rebuilding the wings.
