Hi all does anybody have any recent images of the DH Comet rebuild underway on the South Island and where they are up to with its completion? John

I saw it on saturday, its not had much work done on it for many years, just a basic shell of a airframe, it requires a investor to complete the project.

There was an ad around a few years ago seeking investors to form a syndicate.
DragonflyDH90 would know, and may care to comment.

I personally worked on this dh-88 comet for 8 years, wing and fuselage construction, still look at my pics of all the varnishing I did inside the wing, covering in strips on a angle! Still love this airplane! Too much to talk about! Ken Johnson
