I know the starter kit decals tend to be a bit simplified, but how much is missing in the way of stencils etc when compared with the normal boxing (which doesn't come with RNZAF Markings)?

I know the starter kit decals tend to be a bit simplified, but how much is missing in the way of stencils etc when compared with the normal boxing (which doesn't come with RNZAF Markings)? No stencils in the starter set markings beyond the "Rescue" and ejection triangles. I actually bought the standard boxing and got the starter set decals direct from Airfix. The standard boxing is fully stencilled, but as I was surprised to discover, the stencils don't fully apply to ours when compared with the official RNZAF marking guide (kindly supplied by silverfox). They either have different information, or are different colours, or just generally non-applicable. Any sheet to fully stencil an RNZAF machine will have to be specifically designed for it I think if it isn't to be compromised. I used some stencils from the standard sheet for the RAF machines, but most of them simply don't apply to ours.

I'm sure I've got a set of AM decals for an FB.5 that I was intending on using on the old Airfix single seat Vampire Kit. I might have to dig those out as they may have sufficient stencils for the T.11 if coupled with the starter kit's decals.

and to quote Catherine Tait: "I could do that" Me? Jealous...? Cheers. This particular build and finish was a lot easier than it looks - anyone could do it once they sussed the basics
