Great photos Triple One. For the record this was its first daylight visit - its first actual visit was last Friday evening which incidentally was its first passenger carrying trip.

Looks like it may have just come into ChCh. It appears to have a different engine sound and head it go overhead on final approach into NW wind. It was the sound that dragged me outside and I only got a look from astern as it disappeared across the city scape.

It did it's first go-around at Auckland the other day too... unsafe gear indication I believe... good ol' harbour circuit then landed without incident.

Area 51 is correct as ZK-OXA operated NZ 451/475 AKL-WLG-AKL, but if these photos were Taken on the 02/07/13 as dated then it is not the first daylight visit either as it operated NZ 407/420 AKL-WLG-AKL on the 01/07/13 and ngatimozart you are correct with your assumption with it operating NZ 515/526 AKL-CHC-AKL 03/07.

Nothing wrong with making your point that bit stronger... I did see among those images that the New Forum meeting house is still there.
