For those of you who are interested, here is a photo of the Skyhawk compound being constructed at Woodbourne. It will make good viewing and they will be easily seen from the road. It will be interesting to see what sort of debate comes from this once the aircraft are in full public view which will not be to far away by the sounds if it. Will get another photo or two as things progress.

Wot? No sheep? :-) Thanks for the pic. Your idea that once in public view there will be public pressure to at least store the aircraft 'more humanely' is spot on - I hope.

Are you sure the fence is just for the Skyhawks? I can't see them going to that much trouble (or expense) just for the Skyhawks. Looks more like a security fence around the hangars that will be used for the Orion Upgrade (which may also be used to fence off the Skyhawks when they are put outside)? I heard a while ago that a condition of doing the Orion Upgrade at WB was that security had to be tightened in the work areas that will be doing the work - some of the kit we are installing is very hush hush.

That photo looks like it came from the Marlborough Flight Sim. Shows how realistic that sim is.
