I've just about completed another Pavla Widgeon, this time as ZK-BAY in 1950s Amphibian airways colours Just needs some float rigging wires I suppose I'll probably have to do a SeaBee air one now to complete 'the package'

Very nice, as always ... and yes, go right ahead and build a SeaBee Air one and any others you want. They are marvellous.

Its the 1/72 Pavla Kit A great offering but it does need quite a bit of TLC during construction It could be quite nice to build a US Coast Guard example (perhaps with ZK-CHG's ex serial) and sling a 325 depth charge under one wing www.hyperscale.com/images/widgeon48km_3.jpgNice build of AVM by the way

Excellent stuff Harry. Another great subject. What do you use for that rigging wire? It looks very appropriately "in scale" for 1/72.

Hi Wally, for rigging I use single filament copper wire, I usually set in place using a spot of PVA & then use a spot of superglue over this (for strength) if its a long/exposed section (like rigging biplane wings). For aerials etc I usually just use nylon thread as it less prone to damage.
