This has been well covered on the other modelling forums, but I thought I'd share it here too. Would go nicely with some 486Sqn markings I think, even if they didn't operate many of this particular mark. I could even be tempted to do one, although I'd probably try their recent 1/72 release first. The idea of one of the big superkits appeals as a one off project . There are some detailed pics at britmodeller here: www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234949710-airfix-124-hawker-typhoon/page-6#entry1453574

This kit will redefine modelling - it's astounding.
So who's up for making one? Colours of Des Scott, Harvey Sweetman, Jim Sheddan....

A Des Scott one would be nice. From what I've seen at Brit Modeller, this looks like a superb bit of kit design. Good enough to scare the pants of a 1/72 scale modeller like me. Oneday maybe. Steve.

Find a room to build it in first!! Or a shed... Nah, j/k it should be 16" long and a wingspan of 21", might have to hang that one... I love the subject though

I've seen more praise of this kit across the interwebs than their big Mossie. That's impressive.
Dave, I'm looking at that build over at LSM. WOW. That thing is intimidating, with a capital, bold I!

Gawd, paint this correctly, well the concept of the break down with the structure and airframe, still maybe a little heavy with rivet lines in places but that is a good looking model!
