Got a nice little cyclone heading our way over here... www.bom.gov.au/cyclone/ due to hit our site on Tuesday, we're about 300km inland so will drop to a Cat 2 by that stage (hopefully!) Was due to fly home that day bugger, might be a couple of days extra stuck up here! Anyone else here in the Pilbara? Time to hunker down then! On a side note I see Victoria is getting other extremes of weather...all we need is a plague of locusts to top things off!

Hunker down and stay safe up there, eh; we had the biggest electrical storm i've ever seen go over here last night - woke us up so we stayed up for the light show, just awesome!!

Yeah I'm sweet as here, we just go into lockdown and sit in our rooms for the day...but a couple of my crew are flying in at about 1600hrs, that would be a VERY bumpy flight for sure! Thank goodness the pilots on our charter flights are some very experienced chaps on the '146's. Sounds like the coast is getting pretty smashed right now. What is it with all this weather over here? Does God really dislike this place or something??

Hope you get back home Jonesy & don't have to stay there longer than you need to! Overcast this morning in Perth which suited me fine as I went on my morning walk (after too much Marlborough Sav last night)

16 hours of rain would be a god send in most parts of Aussie wouldn't it?

High alert be buggered; some spots here are at 'catastrophic'!! Everywhere else is at extreme... and it's only gonna get hotter!
