Hi all
Some of you will have seen the little bit in Flightpath (and maybe on Facebook) about a number of 'new-old stock' copies of this book being made available. Graeme Gibson (author of the No. 16 Sqdn SAAF book Path Of Duty) and I are selling these original edition books on behalf of the family. They (and we) are very keen for David's story to get out there again.
The book is a nice little hardback detailing the author's time with No. 455 Sqdn RAAF as its Hampdens and then Beaufighters ranged across the North Sea, and along the Norwegian coast, in search of enemy shipping. They became part of the 'ANZAC Wing' with No. 489 Sqdn RNZAF but also worked closely with 487.
These NOS copies are in fine condition. I imagine some of you grabbed this book when it was first released in 1997 but, if you didn't, now's your chance. I haven't seen a secondhand copy for less than A$40 and, wanting to get this book out there again so the author's exploits reach a wider audience, we're 'listing' it for A$25 plus postage. It's an older hardback, and not a large one, so we've tried to balance affordability while not ripping the family off (we have nothing invested in this, just doing the family a favour and achieving our desire to get the book out there again). Easy to do when we're not having to cover printing costs etc!
Anyway, if you're interested in a copy, just let me know. One of my goals is to get older books like this back out there so the stories are not forgotten and can be read by a larger audience ... affordably. It's extrememly lucky to have found these copies still with the family and, with the NZ$ approaching parity with the A$, perhaps perfect timing!

Thanks to Dave for permission to put this up (took me a while to do it though!).
