ZK-BCI, with the Stratford Aero Club after its return from Fiji. It was current '53 to '59, no idea what colours it wore, maybe the standard sliver and red?.

On things Tiger Moth... grabcad.com/library/de-havilland-tiger-moth-dh82aI feel fortunate in that one of the better jobs I had was working for the Tiger Club in the UK. Not the highest paid jobs but the wealth of experience and the people I had the good fortune of meeting was well worth it. We had G-ACDC in the hangar, I think the oldest flying Tiger Moth at that time. I did a lot of work on G-AOAA. Being a flying club the members kept the hangar team busy with repair work. I did the refuels and starts so it was me that spent most of the time with the pilots. Many celebrities and who's who of the display pilots about at the time as well. I was chatting with John Nurse and he was telling me how he scored a job flying for the film 'Solo' here in NZ. He was just travelling about this country at the time and was just in the right place at the time. I see he was an electrician for the production. ZK-BCZ and ZK-DXO were the stars. www.nzonscreen.com/title/solo-1977www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1140753/
