poor Baz must have all the sandbags out around his place, The only worried one at our place is our dog. Went to put her out the back before we went to bed but there was a bit of a waterfall from an overflowing gutter which she back pedaled away from............until her arse hit the backdoor when Teresa closed it! Our driveway always get flooded in places (lot of uneven bits) but mostly we are dry. I'm at work but a few didn't make it in (including one who lives in Rolleston.Reckon he's having a sly day off!). Someone heard it's been the worst rainstorm since 1974.

I'm staying in Hornby and I'm struggling with this horrible weather here in Christchurch as I'm more used to 30 to 40 plus temp and when it's rains it still in the 30 to 40 temps. Least I brought with me my gore tex and the jacket liner. Now wishing I brought my afghan winter wollies as well.

That's a great advert for Speights. Must be a Southern Man. I wonder if his sheep is under the water.

Just noting the water level he seems to be entering…..it would appear the smile..or grimace is directly proportional to the proximity of said cold water to his "man" vegetables….

Mother Nature really has something against Christchurch. What did you lot do to piss her off so much?
