Here is my recently completed model of F/L G E Jameson & F/O J Crookes Mosquito MM466 ME-R at Colerne in early Aug 1944, a commission build which is also entered in the D-Day Group Build over on kiwimodeller.com www.kiwimodeller.com/index.php/forum/d-day/29062-mosquito-nfxiii-mm466-me-r-488-sqn-july-44-1-48-tamiya?start=18Having established that the aircraft was a NF MkXIII with Bull Nose, on post #21 of that thread Ian was kind enough to put a photo of (what looks like) ME-Z with partial fuselage D-Day stripes covering half of the ME squadron code letters. I decided to go with this photographic evidence rather than other drawings of ME-R which show the complete code letters covering the partial stripes. Things appear to have changed over at Flickr too, where I can no longer locate a BBCode so this is an experiment in using their iframe src code, whatever that is. Url code worked on third attempt. 1/48 Tamiya kitset + Aires Bomb/Cannon Bay, Aires Wheel Wells, Ultracast main & tail wheels, Eduard Zoom detail set. Aeromaster acrylic & Tamiya enamel paints. Kitset, Modeldecal, Ventura & Revell decals. More photos on Flickr, assuming there is a way of linking to it now from these photos. I'm a dolt when it comes to these computer things. Thanks for looking. Wally.

There was an article about Jameson and Crookes in a recent Britain At War. I'll try to remember to scan it.

Pretty impressive! I like the exhaust burns.
