Many years ago Marty Nicoll got access to an original WWII pennant from No. 23 (Ghost) Squadron, the well known Corsair squadron, and he photocopied it thus: Marty happens to be an excellent graphic artists as well as a warbird rebuilder-extraordinaire, and this week he has redrawn the pennant artwork. Isn't it awesome? He suggested I post it here, which I'm glad to do.

Does anyone out there have any other squadron pennants or other material with wartime RNZAF squadron logos on them like this?

I thought these great artworks might have generated some comment from the many RNZAF Corsair fans here. Oh well...

Sorry Dave, was busy looking for the original sketch to compare - is it the last one?

That sketch was with a 19 Sqdn hand written (by the Sqdn Intelligence Officer (Plt Off Carson)) diary that came into my possession.

It looks to me, with those words, like it should have been the cover to a book or diary in itself. I hope it shows up some day, if that's the case.
