Does anyone recognise any of these Mosquito crews? The photo shows 487 aircrew at Hundson early in April 1944. Those already positively identified are Merv Darrall, 'Steve' Stevenson and Max Sparks. Claude Pocock is pretty unmistakeable. The air force museum believes the bloke in the foreground is Len Gilbertson. Possibly the others include Pocock and Gilbertson's right-seat men, Jim Ayton and Stan Askew. Can anyone confirm and/or identify anyone else? Thank you.

Great photo David. Who's who that you already know, so we have an idea of which ones are unidentified, please? I have moved the thread into the appropriate board, Wartime RNZAF. It's great to see you on the forum at last.

Darrall is at 10 o'clock; Stevenson at 12 o'clock, Sparks 1 o'clock, Pocock (presumed) 3 o'clock, and Gilbertson (supposedly) 5 o'clock.

Cheers. One or two of these are new to me. What I need are names! 'Willington' by the way was Wallington.

Hello David, I hope the originals come with more info. Having got the photos, the names to go with them are always a problem , especially when the original photographer can no longer remember much at all.
